Professional Experience

Shane is a partner of the firm and maintains a broad, versatile practice with a primary focus on commercial insurance coverage. He regularly represents clients in matters involving professional liability, products liability, premises liability, and construction defects, and he is a trusted advisor to a wide range of corporate and insurance industry clients. Shane also serves on the firm’s Management Committee, contributing to strategic leadership and operational oversight.

Shane joined the firm immediately after earning his law degree in 2000, and over the past two and a half decades has built a reputation for thorough analysis, practical problem-solving, and exceptional advocacy. Before law school, he earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Arkansas, a background that equips him with unique insight into technical and regulatory matters.

Originally from Stuttgart, Arkansas, Shane brings grounded experience and a strong work ethic to his practice. Outside of the office, he enjoys restoring old cars and motorcycles—anything that gives him an excuse to spend time in his garage and apply the same attention to detail that marks his legal work.
Shane has been widely recognized for professional excellence, including listings in The Best Lawyers in America (since 2018), selection as a Mid-South Super Lawyer (since 2020), and earning the prestigious AV® Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating™.
